Mercer Island Man Removes Wrinkles with MicroLaserPeel Using a Profractional Sciton Laser

Posted October 10th, 2011 in Laser Skin Resurfacing, Patient Stories

A gentleman came in to Island Dermatology with a couple of requests. First, he wanted to deal with the wrinkles around his eyes and his mouth. Then he wanted to moderate some of the hyperpigmentation on his cheeks, slight age spots that were beginning to appear. He had never had any kind of laser treatments before.

In his line of work, it was important for him to maintain a leading edge and not look as though he was behind the times. He was doing everything he could to establish himself as a competent business person, but he also wanted to make some gentle alterations to his appearance. He came to us looking to see what kinds of skin treatments might be available. However, he couldn’t take a lot of time off work.

The dermatologist explained that our Profractional Sciton Laser could take care of both of his needs. We recommended a MicroLaser Peel using our Sciton MicroLaser Peel treatment. After a careful explanation of the process, he agreed.

The MicroLaser Peel using the Profractional Sciton Laser is a simple process which entirely removed the hyperpigmentation. Afterwards there was a continuity in skin color across his cheeks and forehead. The treatment largely removed the wrinkles as well. There was slight peeling on his face for several days afterwards, but he was able to return to work after only two days. He reports high satisfaction with the Sciton MicroLaser Peel treatment and said he would gladly recommend it to anyone else facing the same issues.
