Frank Baron, M.D.

Dr. Baron graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in 1975. In the late 1970s, he arrived in the Northwest to work with Native Americans and migrant workers in Eastern Washington before completing his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Washington in 1979. He then added a fellowship in Dermatology in 1988. Board certified in both internal medicine and dermatology, Dr. Baron has been practicing for more than 20 years. During this time, he has served as the president of the Washington State Dermatology Association and has consistently been honored as one of the metro area’s top skin care specialists by Seattle Magazine. Dr. Baron founded Island Dermatology and Skin Care in April 2001. Back to Top

Gina Fragione, PA-C

A graduate of the University of Washington, Ms. Fragione completed her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Oregon Health Sciences University in 2002. Currently, she is an active member of the National Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Her special interests include acne, adolescent skin care, cosmetic procedures, and skin cancer detection and prevention. She also has an active practice in skin rejuvenation and anti-aging techniques, including Botox, Restylane, Sculptra and “fotofacials.” Back to Top

Lynne Vigesaa, A.R.N.P.

Ms. Vigesaa graduated with a baccalaureate degree in nursing from Columbia University in New York City and completed her master’s degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Washington. She pioneered the role of the nurse practitioner in the state of Washington in the early 1970s and was appointed by the governor to the Washington State Board of Nursing to assist in creating the regulations regarding nurse practitioners in the state. Ms. Vigesaa has been a nurse practioner for more than 30 years, including 13 years as a medical director for Pacific Medical Center’s Totem Lake Clinic in Kirkland. She joined Island Dermatology in 2003. Back to Top

Nicki Vaseghi, Licensed Aesthetician

Nicki Vaseghi, is a graduate of the European Institute of Skin care and joins Island Dermatology with six years of experience as an Aesthetician. She has extensive training in skin anatomy and physiology and is particularly interested in promoting healthy skin care and customizing regimens for all skin types and problem skin conditions. Nicki provides outstanding service to our clients in performing augmented cosmetic facials, acne treatments, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, lymphatic drainage, waxing and laser hair reduction. She also works closely with our medical providers at Island Dermatology and offers free consultations to clients interested in aspects of anti-aging skin care and rejuvenation, particularly Botox, fillers, laser resurfacing and micro-laser peels. Nicki sees referrals from our medical staff but is also happy to be your first contact at Island dermatology to discuss cosmetic procedures, assist with scheduling and provide guidance and support for pre and post procedure care.
