Our experience, paired with our commitment to remain current with new techniques and technologies, ensures that we provide our patients with the best skin care advice and effective treatments.

Frank Baron, M.D., FAAD

Frank Baron

Dr. Baron graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School in 1975. In the late 1970s, he arrived in the Northwest to work with Native Americans and migrant workers in Eastern Washington before completing his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Washington in 1979. He then added a fellowship in Dermatology in 1988. Board certified in both internal medicine and dermatology, Dr. Baron has been practicing Dermatology for more than 20 years. During this time, he has served as the president of the Washington State Dermatology Association and has been honored several times as one of the metro area's "Top Docs" by Seattle Magazine. Dr. Baron founded Island Dermatology and Skin Care in April 2001.

Kendra Bergstrom, M.D.

Dr. Bergstrom received her medical degree from Stanford University and completed her training at Mt.Sinai Hospital and New York University. She also completed her BA at University of California, Berkeley in Neuroscience. As an experienced Dermatologist, she understands skin issues and diseases can greatly impact a persons quality of life and believes in a customized treatment plan for each individual, as each patient has unique goals and needs. She has been described as thoughtful, passionate and very personable with a vast depth of medical knowledge.

Catherine Del Secco, PA-C

Catherine Del Secco

In the medical profession since 1992, Ms. Del Secco completed her degree in physician assistant studies at the University of Washington in 2003. Catherine was the lead physician assistant in the emergency room at Virginia Mason for several years before entering the field of Dermatology. Catherine joined Island Dermatology in January 2009 where she did intensive training under the leadership of Dr. Baron. Catherine performs the full range of cosmetic dermatology services including lasers for skin rejuvenation and red/brown spot removal, botox and fillers as well as medical dermatology services including skin checks, moles, rashes, warts and acne. She is also an active member of the National Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Cambria Weaver, Licensed Aesthetician

Cambria began her work in the medical field as a certified medical assistant back in 2004 and has spent the majority of her career working in plastic surgery and dermatology. Cambria joined Island Dermatology in 2009 and since that time has been dedicated to assisting our providers deliver the highest quality care to our patients. With the support of the Island Dermatology team, Cambria chose to pursue another career goal, going back to school to become an Aesthetician. Cambria graduated from Aesthetics Northwest in June 2011 and since that time has made amazing improvements to our cosmetic program. Cambria's years of experience in cosmetic dermatology are obvious as she creates individualized plans for each patient. She understands and is able to clearly communicate what treatment options are available and appropriate for each patient. Her specialty as an Aesthetician lies in her ability to listen to the patient, provide exceptional service, and tailor a treatment program that works for them. Cambria continues to work closely with all of the providers at Island Dermatology, offering a wide range of dermatology services and skin care knowledge.
